GRACE
Grace was our first Dane. And the reason I love the breed so much. Even though I only had her a short eighteen months I will never forget her. I lost Grace on October 22, 2005. I came home one morning after being gone only a few hours to find my beautiful Gracie Poo ( as I liked to call her) dead in the back yard. Needing answers my husband and I took her the vet to have a necropsy done. I found out Grace had a small pocket in her intestines that collected bacteria and poisoned her. This was the most difficult lose I have experienced. Grace was my baby and I still miss her everyday. Even though I have other Danes I love, she will always hold that special place in my heart that only she can fill. Even now as I sit and write this almost two years after I lost my sweet girl, my heart is filled with sadness as tears roll down my face.
