Desert Blue Danes
We are Jenn and Ben Culver. We live in Kennewick Washington. And spend a lot of time out on the river with the Danes.

We have had Danes a few years now, and will never be with out at least one. Danes are like potato chips, you cant have just one. You will find this to be true as soon as you open your home to them. We love the breed very much and learn new things all the time about them.

All of our pet quality Danes go out on limited registration. No Exceptions!!  Please contact me if you would like to see our health guarantee or pet contract. You can e-mail and I will send you a copy. Our pups MUST come back to us should the new owners for any reason be unable to care for them for any reason for their entire life! Our pups will only go to homes that have adequate space, and where they will live indoors & be part of the family. Potential owners will be screened.

Please do your research before you decide to purchase a Great Dane. There are several great books and so much information on the web about the breed. So many Danes end up in shelters because people had no idea that they would get so big or how much they slobber. Or that they can destroy a mattress!! Twice!!  Know what you are getting in to. Plan ahead. Make sure you can care for a Dane for his or her entire life. Plan on your Dane being a family member, as living inside is a must for a Great Dane. Be prepared to put a lot of  dedication, work and time and money into owning and loving a Great Dane. 

Danes have a huge impact on your life. They are loyal and loving. You will need to be loyal and loving in return. It surprises me every day how much I love them. And how much they give in return.

We also feed our Danes a raw diet. And hope that people would do the same. Although I realize this may not be possible for every family.
